The CMAP type exposes the following members.

| Commit | Commit any changes to a map. |
| CopyMapToView | Copy entire map into one view in output map. |
| CRCMap | Generate an XML CRC of a MAP |
 | Create | Create a MAP. |
| CreateLinked3DView | Create a 3D View in this map that is linked to a MVIEW in a 3D View file. |
| Current | This method returns the Current map opened. |
| DatasetFilePathList | Get a list of all dataset file paths in this map. |
| DeleteEmptyGroups | Remove empty groups in the map, do not delete empty views. |
| DeleteView | Deletes a view in this map. |
| Discard | Discard all changes made to the map. |
 | Dispose | (Overrides CHANDLEDispose(Boolean).) |
| DupMap | Duplicate copy of current map. |
| ExportAllInView | Export the entire map in view units to an external format. View and Group names are removed and plane spatial coordinates will be in the units of the map. |
| ExportAllInView2 | Same as ExportAllInView_MAP, but preset the range in X and Y to export (mm) |
| ExportAllRaster | Export the entire map to map to a non-geo raster format. |
| ExportAreaInView | Export an area of a map in view units to an external format |
| ExportAreaRaster | Export an area of a map to a non-geo raster format. |
| GetDataProj | Get the projection type of the Data view of a map. |
| GetLPT | Get the LPT Object of a MAP. |
| GetMapSize | Get the size of the Map. |
| GetMETA | Get the map's META |
| GetREG | Get the map's REG |
| GroupList | Get a list of all views/groups in this map. |
| GroupListEx | Get a list of views/groups in this map for this mode |
| IDuplicateView(String, String, Int32) | Duplicate an entire view |

| iExistView | Checks to see if a view exists. |
| IGetClassName(String, String) | Get a class name. |

| IGetFileName(String) | Get the name of the map. |

| IGetMapName(String) | Get the Map Name of the Map. |

| iPackedFiles | The number of packed files in the current map. |
| IUnPackFilesEx(Int32, String) | UnPack all files from map to workspace. |

| IUnPackFilesToFolder(Int32, String, String) | UnPack all files from map to workspace. |

| PackFiles | Pack all files in the map so that it can be mailed. |
| RemoveGeosurface | Remove all geosurface groups from a map that are linked to a specific geosurface file. |
| RemoveGrid | Remove references to a grid from a map. |
| RemoveVoxel | Remove all voxel groups from a map that are linked to a specific voxel file. |
| RenameView | Renames a view in this map. |
| Render | Render a map to file/device. |
| RenderBitmap | Render a map to a bitmap. |
| RenderViewBitmap | Render a map view to a bitmap. |
| RepairBrokenGeosurfaceLinks | Replaces/repairs references to a geosurface inside a map. |
| RepairBrokenGridLinks | Replaces/repairs references to a grid inside a map. |
| RepairBrokenVoxelLinks | Replaces/repairs references to a Geosoft Voxel inside a map. |
| ResizeAll | Resize a map to the extents of all views. |
| ResizeAllEx | ResizeAll_MAP with selection of view extent type selection. |
| rGetMapScale | Get the current map scale |
| SaveAsMXD | Save as ArcGIS MXD |
| SetClassName | Set a class name. |
| SetCurrent | Sets the current map to this map. |
| SetMapName | Set the Map Name of the Map. |
